THE FIRST AND LAST GENERATION

01/02/2021

I had a dream last night:

It began with me and my husband in a room, hearing a noise outside the window and looking out to see a young man who’d been injured on the roof. He had a wound under his feet (like a deep gash) and was running from some type of authority figure and we felt compelled to help so we helped him into the room, through the window, and drew the curtains shut, then began to treat the wound in secret.

There was an urgency to hide this man from this authority figure who we knew was full of evil. We brought some drugs and ointment and then began to press the wound, then bound it in Methylated Spirit and oils. We had to move from that location so we wouldn’t be discovered so we took this young man and left the room.

Some of our friends started to join us in this mission but by the time we got to the place where we were to take transportation, we’d been discovered. We tried to quickly get the young man who’d been injured out of the place but all of us couldn’t go at once. Someone had to stay back and fight the authority figures who were after him. I watched in horror as a friend of mine was killed and because of that, I stayed back as well to give everyone on our team a chance to escape. I got killed too but here’s where it gets interesting:

I died but it seemed I continued to live because I was out of my body but still seeing everything else that was going on. Me and my friends were on a mission to get the young man (who was now healing quickly) to a city called, The First and Last Generation.

Many of the people on this mission with us died for the sake of it but eventually, we were able to fulfil the mission through our unity and readiness to sacrifice ourselves for one another. Only two people were left alive with the young man and they passed through the gates into this city. In this city, the evil authority figures couldn’t get in. I had come into the city with them and was walking on the streets. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

There were so many people in this city.

So many people lining the streets and walking through it. I saw a bunch of bananas as big as a house lying by the road. I walked into a street and caught my breath. The people I had seen die for our mission were coming out of a building in this city. I saw my friends, some Asian people, some Black people, a guy I remember from the secondary school I attended and we were hugging each other and weeping in joy. We had given everything we had to The Mission and we didn’t loose our lives as we’d thought. We’d gained life. Then I heard a scripture sound above us and in our hearts:

“We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.” (1 John 3:14)

I saw my sister too and I reached for her and pulled her into a hug. I couldn’t believe I was seeing her again and as we held unto each other weeping, I heard another scripture sound above us and in our hearts:

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” (Revelation 21:4)

One of my friends came and stood beside me and she began to explain the things I was seeing. She said to me, “it is to the degree that each person has allowed Christ be formed within them and expressed that they will live again after death; that they will come here to this place.”

I turned my head to look at her and she smiled. She said we were waiting for my husband. He was on his way. He’ll be here soon. We were also waiting for another friend and she began to explain more to me, that it is what we do with the mind on earth that will bring us here, to this city. She said that this place was for those who had died for the mission and as she was still speaking, I saw the Apostle Paul walk towards us.

He began to talk about Jesus Christ, saying that The Lord was worth every single thing we would ever loose in any lifetime. He began to express his great joy over dying for Jesus Christ and we were crying in joy because we were so happy. We could all remember everything each of us had sacrificed for the sake of The Mission in our past lives but it didn’t matter here. It paled in comparison to the joy that filled our hearts in that moment and we had absolutely no regrets whatsoever.

The darkness couldn’t reach us here. Neither could the evil authority figures of the world nor any of our fears. We were free.

I was started telling my friend and the Apostle Paul, “I have to preach this. I have to tell everyone about this. I have to use this to also tell them that Jesus Christ is coming again. His second coming is close. He’s coming again.”

My eyes opened and I rolled over in bed and sat up.

  1. Hallelujah!!!
This is the first time reading your blog here and this is so overwhelming another encouraging words to keep going and seeking Christ more.
    Thanks ma’am for sharing.

  2. Reading this, all I could think of was my life, how I’m currently living and my intimacy with ABBA. So many questions roaming in my mind, all I can ask for right now is God’s grace to serve and love him till the end.
    God bless you E.Z
